Prepress

We have most in-house prepress facilities, such as typesetting, film and plate making, but not graphic design. The majority of our prepress is outsourced to Pageset and we prefer using live files where possible, to ensure we can achieve an optimal result.

We have equipment specially designed to produce accurate colour swatches on any chosen stock. This is used for all jobs with spot colours and can also be used to test difficult colours on unusual stocks.

We offer a range of in-house finishing options, including overall UV Varnishing. For work we cannot do in-house we outsource to a number of high quality suppliers, as indicated in our About Us page.
In-House UV Varnishing:
We are able to offer overall UV Varnishes in matt, satin and gloss on sheet sizes in excess of A1! For full details see our article on varnishing here.
In-House Formecutting:
We have a Heidelberg Platen for in-house formecutting, with a maximum sheet size of 340x460mm.
In-house Folding:
In-house folding, capable of basic folds such as concertina, roll and single gate folds on sheets up to our maximum print sheet size.
Binding:
In-house saddle stiching for short runs (up to a few hundred) and to allow advance deliveries of portions of larger jobs.
